  Puja means honour and devotion and homage. It’s the Hindu worship of gods. Yoga for Muladhara Chakra

Muladhara is the root. It’s located at the base of your body-for women it’s behind our cervix, for men it’s the perineum. For my own visualization, I just picture my butt hole. When we say, “root down”, in yoga and you’re sitting, picture your anus rooting into the floor like a electric connection to the earth. Nadi Shodhana-Alternate Nostril Breathing

I got the rad pic above from Kaitlyn Roland’s site, YogaDopa. Alternate nostril breathing, or nadi shodhana is the true pranayama ish. I like to do it at the end of a yoga practice, especially if I’m teaching.
