  Puja means honour and devotion and homage. It’s the Hindu worship of gods. If you ever travel to Bali, you’ll see thousands of little baskets left at opened doors of shops and homes with flowers and food and incense left as puja for the gods. Yoga for Muladhara Chakra

Muladhara is the root. It’s located at the base of your body-for women it’s behind our cervix, for men it’s the perineum. For my own visualization, I just picture my butt hole. When we say, “root down”, in yoga and you’re sitting, picture your anus rooting into the floor like a electric connection to the earth. Nadi Shodhana-Alternate Nostril Breathing

I got the rad pic above from Kaitlyn Roland’s site, YogaDopa. Alternate nostril breathing, or nadi shodhana is the true pranayama ish. I like to do it at the end of a yoga practice, especially if I’m teaching.
